Nope, these are not ambassadors, not professional surfers, sailors, kiters, divers, or water-people, necessarily. They are however living a life that inspires. They dive in, are passionate lovers of the ocean, the environment, they kick ass one way or another, and most importantly they are our friends (a handful of our friends).

Besides absolutely ripping on anything on the water, board underfoot or not, he is one of the best sailing coaches on the planet. Known for his enthusiasm, fun factor, and smarts, you're guaranteed learning something big when you hang out with Phil.
dan malloy
We grew up obsessing on surf films by the Malloy's. Dan's of course a remarkable surfer, but also an amazing storyteller, farmer, activist, and teacher. He's one of the nicest guys ever and lives his beliefs through and through doing good things for people and planet. We are forever thankful for his continued inspiration and help.
daniella moroz
We are stoked to live just a few hours away from Daniela. Her resumé and acumen bely her age. Rolex Yachtswoman of the Year, multiple World Champion, competitive swimmer, and on and on. We only have limited space here so in summary: She kicks ass!
Marcela Witt
Marcela is a renowned water woman. The first woman to kitesurf Antarctica, the first woman to kite Nazare, and she’s a freestyle kitesurf champion. Hailing from Brazil, her constant stoke is adequately matched by her skills on the water. We are always learning from Marcela, whether it’s tips and tricks from her van life or all things wind or wave-related.
riley gibbs
Hanging out with Riley does two things: teaches you to push yourself harder, and to smile more doing it. That smile is always there, working out, prepping gear, on the water, in the cafe (bar?). He's always the one having the best time. Riley's been traveling the globe, recently back from the 2020(21) Olympics... grinning ear to ear.
evan heffernan
Evan's always all-in, whether it's kite foiling training, penning apps for kite foiling, filming kite foiling, tuning kites for kite foiling, adjusting foils for kite foiling, or just having fun kite foiling. He likes stuff other than kite foiling too. No one knows what though.
romain screve
We met Romain when he was a 10 year old. He already seemed to have everything figured out. Winning, especially. Romain is a challenger, always looking at problems and solutions in new and thought-provoking, mind-bending ways. That's why we love doing any activity with him, on or off the water.
quinten rubalcava
You will see Quinten starring in most of our surf edits. Ojai native and surf obsessed, he's first in and last out of any given session. He is ambassador for both Patagonia and Firewire and living proof time dedicated to your craft is the path to mastery. Oh yeah, talent helps.
Bailey Clark
Bailey didn’t grow up in, around, or even near the ocean, but we still like her. Bailey’s a designer, writer, artist, papermaker, and bookbinder. Bailey fully embodies the term “Dive In.” And, let’s remember she is an enthusiastic sailor and surfer.
